Not quite paradise
But I am getting there. Gotta say thanks to all the well wishers and support. I needed it and for that I am so very very grateful. Got back to work after getting out of the hospital. 'Rents got into a spat and I set about getting my computer fixed. Oy. Work went okay and I got my sick hours, used all of them, so I need to be careful until the next fiscal year. Headed to Neko. Some stuff happened but I rather focus on the positive stuff, I danced at Friday's rave and had a great time. Got some cool compliments on my "Promotion" Hinamori. Was a little bummed that my Halibel wasn't finished yet. Oh well. Met some cool people, saw Amanda's AMV, so rocked the proverbial socks. Talked and for the most part had a decent time. Learned that I got some really cool people in my life. Felt like it was start of something good. So couldn't wait to get back and finish up Kiyal.
Getting back to work and the grind but still getting psyched for AUSA. So going to pierce some heavens with the massive Gurren Lagann group we're planning. If you haven't seen this series go download it now! Seriously! Also, I got my Halibel commission, it looks great! I just need to get some stuff to lighten my eyebrows and I'll be good to go. Its going to be epic. Getting together a raver Iruka for the dance, and getting some pretty things for formal Kiyal. Cannot wait to get packing.
Anyways, work is really grinding me. Seriously, me and the manager do all the work for the department and its getting to me. The others do nothing but bitch and do half assed work. Which means I have to pick up the slack. And this girl keeps changing her schedule behind our backs, making excuses, comes to work late.....etc...Its just driving me batty tis all.
The last few days have been getting progressively better, but I have to be on edge since every time I get complacent, I get a serious case of the karmic paybacks. Computer got its hard drive replaced and I had to wait for days to get the recovery discs I needed. Get them and still have to get Op system online, then its the drivers, now I need to get my music library, virus protection, and internet links back. Gah. Phone wonked out on me but I got it taken care of.
All in all, a decent existence. Could be better, but I'll take it.
