General Geekary
Okay, here I am typing again. Sunday, I was picked up and taken to Easter with the Napiers. Was fun but it was really hard at the Easter service, the liberal in me was screaming. Food was tasty though and I talked to peoples. Loaded me up with food, just finishing them off now. Yummy, yummy.
Tuesday, my mom came and we went and got me a tv. A nifty flat screen, as in the front is flat but the back is regular square. We got various things, stuff for my cosplays, showed her around town and got some manga. Talked shop at the comic book store, got some figurines for herself. Really like the Trinity Blood novel, been reading it all day. Didn't get my liscence, not because I failed but because one of the rear brake lights burned out as I was about to get on the road. Couldn't find a place to get it replaced. Gagh. Took her to IY and she is in love with the soy "dairy" products. Ate and talked about things. California, jobage woes, Dad, Garrat, anything that was on our minds.
Dad called and he wants to have a family gathering sans the Judy. I dunno, part of me wants my family to still exist, but the logical responsible part of me knows that will never happen. Still, I wonder.....
Work is worky and the lazy girl is gone now. Not sure if I work tommorow or not but I will see. If not, more cosplay workings. Got a nifty dress shirt for Souga at the thrift store as well as shoes. Sweet! Made the base for the ANBU armguards and finished my mask, got pants, now to get the shirt to modify and commission the vest. I really should invest in a sewing machine. Still, if I had one, where would I keep the darn thing? *sigh* A geek's work is never done.
Harrison has the sniffles and she likes to sneeze in my face while I am trying to sleep, homeopathic remedies help her a bit, if I can get her to take them. Got so worked up the last time she puked, the furry bugger.
