Holidays
My holidays were pretty good. I hope everybody's was as well. I got to the train station and found my train was late 40 mins, then 1 1/2 hours, then 2 hours, then 3 hours. I called Sherri to check in on Kira and found she's a bit of a troublemaker when teamed up with Eddie. Silly girl. Waited for the train impatiently, arrived in DC 4 hours late. A little before 10 at night I met my mother and we drove home. I crashed for the next few days, playing far too much Soul Caliber III and planning Christmas dinner. Did manage to get some driving practice in so thats good. Did the chirch thing Christmas Eve and Morning. I really liked my presents. I received:
* 5" saute pan and matching turner (itty bitty and cute)
* 7" Grayson edge Henkel Santoku (my dream knife)
* metal measuring spoons (hand tools! squee!)
* metal measuring cups (see above)
* vegetable peeler (ditto)
* silicone spatula (etc....)
* sleep socks (comfy)
* new underwear (ehh, I expect it)
* Princess of the World: Pacific Islands Barbie Doll (after x-mas pressie, still beautiful)
* Final Fantasy X (thanks Garrat)
* Mr. and Mrs. Smith DVD (its a cute movie, with explosions)
* Invader Zim Vol. 1 (whoo-hoo! Doom!)
* Fruits Basket #12 (a pressie from me to me)
* Shaman King #8 (see above)
* January Newtype
* Bath and Body works products in Sweet Pea

Christmas day I made dinner. Mom got a Honeybaked Ham and I made the side dishes. Also whipped up some Chorizo, Roasted Corn and Red Potato chowder. Its was great and it made me miss the kitchen. Oh well. Hung out with mi madre and watched movies while mom spent the night in a ham coma. Garrat was holed away in his basement hobble, so I cleaned up. Its nice being home, I missed Silver and my room. Dad called, no biggie. Went out and hit the sales, not too shabby. Mom contemplated buying more Chococat swag and I dragged her into getting pressies for herself. Ate out, and it was fun. Got a pressie for Kira, edited mom's iTunes. Rest of the week was spent cleaning and more games, driving practice was included. Really want that liscence.
Dad came over and we talked. I so need to get a job so I can stay independent. If i don't by the time my lease expires, I have to move back in with mom or dad. Eeep. So not wanting that. Kira would live with mom and the other kitties. It would be okay but, I'm not sure. My first choice is to stay in Richmond,so I really need to work on putting in more applications. New years was alright, ate out, came back for some Star Wars Saga Edition Monopoly and watched Spaceballs and Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. Mom won and the movies wer fun. Watched the ball drop, drank some cider, hit Gaia for the New Year's Event. Snagged some items, beat my record in Scorer (SCIII) and passed out. Here I am, a litle buzzed and watching Simpons dvds.
2006 is here, hopefully it'll be a good year.
