Life Has A Deadline Lately...
Two good things today.
I don't know if I had mentioned that Jamie bought tickets to see Snow Patrol on my birthday or not. Well, regardless I just did. I wasn't really jazzed about it, but I figured it would be a good time. Not to mention it's very refreshing to celebrate my birthday w/out it being centered around food! Anywho, today I found out that Hot Hot Heat will be the opening band. NOW I'm super excited to go! So, yay!
Secondly, today I had a performance evaluation at work. I did really well in all areas AND my boss told me that I'm a future star of the company. I'm still a bit overwhelmed with that. Me?! A Star?! Wow. I do feel really good about it. The only thing I need to work on is being more assertive, which I think will come in time since I become more comfortable there everyday.
So I just thought I would share my excitement. May I also share my excitement for potential visitors in the first two weeks of July? Yes, I think I will! WooHoo!
