For a while I have been meaning to find to percentages of people of the USA population or in what state. And from there, the chances that if you meet an American abroad, that they are from a certain state.
Well, I have found it. If you meet an American there is a 17% chance that they are from California. A 7% chance they are from Texas, and a 6 percent chance that they are from New York. The chance that you'll meet a Coloradan is 1%.
