1 C white flour
1 C acorn flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 C shortening/butter
1 C milk
Sift together dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening/butter until the size of small crumbs.
Form a well and add in the milk. Stir quickly with a fork until moistened.
Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Makes 16.
Bake at 450 for 12-15 minutes.
Goes QUITE well with homemade plum jam. ;)
