The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly...
wow, i need to start finding time to update more frequntly. so much has happened since i last updated, but its been such a blur im sure to forget important things... i guess ill start with the present and work my way back, which will be confusing to anyone reading, but itll make sense to me :O) so... im in Florida right now. my grandfather has had sleep apnia for several years, no big deal, but a month ago he started waking up in the middle of the night unable to brethe. so he went to the cardiologist and found out he has an arrythmia(irregular heart beat) and at night for some reason his heart goes into a bradycardic rhythm (really slow, like less than 35 beats per min) which causes him to wake up out of breath. he has a house in florida that got pretty much destroyed during the hurricane, ill post pics when i get home, so hes doing all the repairs himself. this is where i come in.. he works himself too hard so i volunteered to come down and keep an eye on him during my break because my grandmother wont be down till next week, and she can keep an eye on him then. on the plus side, i get to go fishing evrey afternoon, learn how to do some cool shit (put in hard wood floors, build a soffet (whatever that is?), install cabinets, put up sheet rock, install a ceiling, install granite countertops, all sorts of good shit)
got here around 11 last night, and man could you tell its a lil ol town full of OLD people. i had to go out and buy basatration for my tattoo cuz i forgot the tube i had @ kerris, and EVERYTHING was closed. found a CVS, closed @ 10, went to the supermarket, closed @ 9, finally ended up tryin a 7/11, they didnt have any, but there was a cute kid there so i asked him if he knew of anywhere i could go get some. he was more than happy to help me find a store.. lol so i followed him to walgreens, we excahnged numbers and well prolly go hang out tonight since my grandfather goes to bed @ 9 and i go to bed @ 3. that was a fun little trip... :o)
so yea, in case you didnt catch it the first time, i got my tattoo. it looks AWESOME, the guy did such a good job on it. when i get back and figure out how to load pics on this thing, im pretty sure it can be done, ill post a pic of it. got it on sat. mornin, took 3.5 hours, but its already almost all healed.
had kerris 21st bday party sat. night, that was awesome!! so much fun. met a few new people there, got a few numbers, found out later that one of the kids is engaged even though he fully denies it to this day, danced with kerri and jess all night. just had a good time...
sunday i hung out with mike most of the night. now for thoes of you who knew me in the earlier days of high school, you know which mike im talkin about. mr. mike martin himself. he and i dated for about 6 months @ the end of my sophomore year and he then cheated on me w/ my best friend @ the time. now usually one would think, why would you hang out with this kid 4 years later? well im a bigger person now. that was a long time ago and im over it. and more importantly, ive forgiven, but certainly not forgotten. i can be friends with him and thats fine, but it will never again be anything more than that. ever. but we had fun catching up on old times. we went to his house so i could see him mom, she and i were always close, so i talked to her for like an hour and then we went to get somethin to eat. watched a movie @ his house (the forgotten, great movie for anyone who likes suspense) then headed over to chalks to play pool.
haha, thats where the fun started. the guy who owns chalks hits on me every time i go in there, if youve ever gone with me when hes there you know what i mean. so after about an hour or so of pool i went to buy a drink while mike was on the phone and jeff (the owner) wouldnt even look @ me. he was pretending to be mad or somethin. so of course, being me, i asked what was wrong... he was pissed because i was on a date. lol!! so i told him no, thats my ex, were hanging out, he doesnt have a shot in hell. big smile comes across his face.. it was so funny. so to make a long story short, he asked for my number. now i know hes like 30, but ive dated older guys before, and this whole situation is amusing to me so i decided to take part in his game. i told him that i would give him my #, but first he had to tell me my name. he was speechless, it was great! he had no clue what my name was! he was set on lindsay for a lil while but i told him no. now there were like 4 other people in the place who knew me but no one was talkin. he went nuts all night, it was great. not gonna lie, i can be a pretty bad teast sometimes, but its amusing to me. guys love it, as much as they hate it @ the time, its fun. anyway, after a pretty big hint (it starts w/ 's') he figured it out and i gave him my number.. now just gotta wait and see if he has the guts to call it...
went out with phil a few times during the week.
went out with kerri last sunday. we decided to go to her friend jess's house and drag her out cuz she didnt want to come. jess's b/f josh was there and his friend phil. kerri and i stayed about 10 mins then left, but id forgotten my purse so we called jess to make sure it was there so i could go pick it up. i told jess i thought phil was hot, and she told me it was a good thing i was comin back cuz i thought i was pretty and decided that he josh and jess would come out with kerri and i afterall. so the five of us went out and had a good time. phil and i started talkin and exchanged numbers. i like him, he seems like a cool guy. just got back from 14 months in iraq with the army. crazy stories... dunno where thatll lead tho, we really didnt have much to talk about other than him in the military and my school... well see i guess...
saw rascall flatts in concert a few weeks ago! it was an awesome concert! if you ever have to see one country concert, see them, they were so good. it was @ umass amherst, so it was mostly a college crowd and oh man what an enviornment! the whole place was on its feet for 2 hours. great time, awesome night. learned to stay away from applebees late at night. they screwed EVERYTHING up. oh well, what can you do...
so what else? had finals last week. that sucked ass. 3 full days without a wink of sleep. like none, not even a nap. still waiting for my grades to be posted. worked my ass off during them so hopefully itll pay off. found out a few days ago that my aunty kathy is getting married in september. her 'fiance' is awesome, but we already call him uncle. they have been together 11 years, dont know what suddenly made them decide to get married, but hey its still awesome.
i think thats it for big stuff thats happened... ill add later if i forgot anything.
still tryin to get kerri to calm down a little bit with guys in her world. shes out of control. i mean i know i like to flirt and all that stuff, but im single so why shouldnt i, but she just doesnt know where to draw the line.. flirting is one thing, hooking up is another.
oh yea, buddy, im sorry again about jess that night @ chalks. she really wanted to kiss you. im pretty sure she still does... she asks about you all the time, its funny. some weekend well have to all hang out again, if you want. or you and i can hang out, whatever. like i said in that message, i want you to feel comfortable when we hang out.
well grampy needs the computer so thatll have to be all for now, ill come back tonight when he goes to bed and finish...
