(no subject)
Wow. I have no idea what awaits me in the next few days.
I do know that I will be very sleep deprived.
My plan is to go to training tonight at 1am (after having gone to bed at 3, waken up at 10 this morning and working a double shift, my last shift, at Pizza Hut), leave at 7am, go to school and nap until 10, after classes go to lunch with Drew and Kris, sleep more, go to 4:30 class, go home and sleep more, shower, and then back to training.
I am nuts for doing this. I just couldn't pass it up though.
Tonight was emotional. I never thought it would be so hard to leave Pizza Hut. I'm so glad that everyone kept me laughing, otherwise I probably would have been crying. Haha. I'm such a sap. There were so many times I wanted to quit that job, and even felt like walking out. But I'm so glad I didn't. I'm going to miss so many things about that place. I gave my last goodbyes to Mr. Cooper and Mr. Katman in these last couple of days. They were surprised I was leaving. They both wished me luck and hoped they'd see me around again. I have to go back eventually. I have to see them again. And Mark, as weird of a guy he is. And Mr. Fagan, Mr. Norton, and Mr. Bachoven. All the office ladies. As odd as it sounds, they're all a part of my life. Complete strangers. Yet all so familiar.
I've gotten so close to the whole family at Pizza Hut. I mean, they really are like a second family. Nicole has become one of my pretty good friends. Sharing chats after our shifts and cracking up while we were working. Sal and Mattax. Steph. Kyle, who I frickin' love so much. I've been up front with Allison for like 2 years. DIANE! I love that woman. Can't forget Corey. Kyle G, who I better get to hear play music this Christmastime. Complaining with Debbie. Ewok and Grimace. God, I am not going to be able to live without these people.
So I'm near tears typing this out. I fucking love that place. Enough said. As many times as I said I hated it there and I wanted to quit - it was all craziness. I'd go back in a second. And I will once I get situated.
Here's to you, Coventry Pizza Hut. I'll love you forever. :)
