North Central Sociological Association 2008 Conference March 27-29 Hilton Netherland Hotel Cincinnati
Common Situations: Complex Realities Many situations and events with which we are familiar (i.e. war, marriage, social control, schooling, working in groups) are in reality more complex than they first appear. The use of sociological theory and sociological analysis is the strength of our discipline. This conference will highlight the ways in which sociology illuminates and challenges our knowledge of what is often considered common but in reality is quite complex.
