I was out of books. Angela lent me some of the book club's picks from the past. Then, in addition to next month's book club choice, I ordered two more books. That should keep me busy for a month, hmm?
- The Professor and the Madman by Simon Winchester (started today)
- Brothel by Alexa Albert
- The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini (it's been really popular, so I thought I'd give it a try)
- Peace Pilgrim by Peace Pilgrim (a classmate from the theater department was working on a film inspired by this book when he was killed by a drunk driver earlier this year)
- Reading Lolita in Tehran by Azar Nafisi (another bestseller - generally disliked in book club, however)
- Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert (a rejected option for next month's club meeting)
- Journals by Arthur Schlesinger, Jr. (not my normal thing, but sounds interesting)
I also finished putting 260 wedding photos in an album today. I need another smaller album for the other 140 pictures still, and I need to print out a few extras to cut up for the album cover. I felt accomplished either way,
