I forgot the ice cream maker that my ex-MIL gave us as a Christmas gift that has not left David's office since I opened it prior to Christmas. I also have a crock pot. Once upon a time it was 2, but my big crock got a crack. I mourned its death for like a week. I mourned the death of my free FoodSaver in the same manner. I think it's a 2-step program that involves 1) moving into a place with a small kitchen/no storage and 2) getting rid of what you don't need.

If you have the space for it and use it all, why not? We got a George Foreman as a gift and returned it because we have a grill pan and a small outdoor charcoal grill. We also do not have a microwave. I would rather have a toasted oven!
