We have lived in this apartment for almost two years now and just renewed our lease (with a transfer clause) for a third year. By this point, our decor has happily moved past "one step above dorm room," especially in the living room. The bedroom is another matter completely. I thought about it, but I think it's back far enough. Most of the time, I use the front burners (and, as you can tell, I do cook every day). One thing I do wish is that we had a fume hood, but we don't. Oh well. Someday!

I bought one of those ugly three tiered spice things that look like mini stairs so I can keep them in the cupboard. Blah!
