Hello my Lotus Flower...
A few of us were bored at work yesterday (I was in the middle of a two-hour incubation, so YES, I was working...geez) and found a box of blank name tags...
So of course we proceed to make name tags for everyone: Mine is "Lotus Flower, aka Buddha Belly", Carl's is "Sponge Carl Sweatpants", Katina's is "Hurricane Katina", Harra's is "Hazmat Harra", Dolly is "Dirrrty Dolly", Theresa is "Mother Theresa", Greg is "Dr. Unk" and so on and so on...We have NO lives.
In other news, "LOST" is INSANE...this show is gonna make my head explode, but I LOVE IT. (That one is for you, DAVID and DALAL!)
When you get a chance, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE check out www.hope4parag.com . Parag is the husband of one of my sorority sisters, and we desperately need to find him a donor. Hopefully we can get a bone marrow drive set up at Drexel within the next few weeks.
Shiju and I finally met our college friend Nehal's son Akshar the other day. Nehal is in town staying with her parents for a few weeks...its SOO nice having her around again...even for a little while. Akshar is almost 2 months old and sooooo cute! I have pix of him up at Yahoo! Its crazy how the pregnancy bug has pretty much bitten all of us...there are a bunch of us Drexel old heads due this year. Almost every couple who went on the Bahamas cruise last winter has a kid now or has one on the way. Carnival must have slipped something in our water...
Oh yes, Baby Diesel lost the office pool...oh well, he made a good run at it...I guess no college fund for him:-)
