I've had the screenname "Stacirico" since circa 1995 when I was on AOL. I wanted "Cocorico" which is French for "cock-a-doodle-doo," but it was already taken (?!), so I changed it to "Cicirico." I had Cicirico for a while, but then for some unknown reason, it suddenly stopped working one day. So I opened a new account called "Stacirico" that combined my previous SN with my real-life name. ("And the fourth screenname stayed up... and that's what you'll get lad, the strongest screenname in all these islands." LOL)

I believe it was because my dad had a coworker with a daughter named Stacey, and my parents heard it and just liked the name.

"Yak is whack" is inspired by Whitney Houston's famous "Crack is whack" statement. And yaks.
