Wedding RSVPs are coming in! People actually want to come! *squee*

Kidwiches. Like regular ice cream sandwiches, only... mini. (said like Dr. Evil, haha) Seriously, you gotta try them. Normally I keep my willpower in check and only eat one. But I just ate 2. *gasp* hehe. I figure that extra Kidwich is my reward for working from 8:00 to 6:30 straight today, and snacking on nothing but rice cakes all week. Gosh darn it.

(singing like the Will Smith song) "I'm goin' to Miami!" For real, I am going to Miami for a business trip a week from Monday. Miami in August isn't ideal as far as weather goes (how far do you want to bet my hair will POOF out?!), but the coolness factor definitely makes up for it. Much better than Grand Rapids in February, I'm sure.

Tuna, in almost every form. I never had tuna in my life before about a month or so ago, when I was at John Harvard's Brew House and randomly decided I wanted a tuna steak. No, I take that back - I had part of a seared ahi tuna appetizer in California. But this was the first time I had tuna as the main course. And it was YUM. Now I am making up for 27 tuna-less years by eating tons of tuna-fish sandwiches. I'm now realizing that it's basically the chicken of fish. If that makes sense.

I got an "attagirl" from the divisional VP the other day. I sent a "marcom notice" to what seemed like half the known world (sales managers, ops managers, marketing colleagues in APAC and EMEA, etc) and the VP replied back with something like, "very impressive stuff" - copying Nancy, our VP of marketing (my boss's boss, if you will). Nancy later said to me that he hasn't replied like that to anyone else's campaigns yet. Don't mind me while I stretch my arm trying to pat my own back.
