To all of you who are saying, to yourselves or otherwise, something along the lines of "it's about time" or "took long enough," I have a few things to say. Firstly, I would like to say that this had been planned years ago. I wanted to make sure that Stacey and I were both stable adults, which included me getting my degree and a nice full-time job whose pay is not calculated by the hour. Then, there's this nice concept of "three months salary." That's simple enough to claim if you're a jeweler, but believe you me, between rent, student loans, gas, and other assorted necessary expenses, it takes a hell of a lot more than three months to save up three months salary. In fact, it took twelve. I dare you -- open up a savings account, and sock away nearly 1/3 of your net take-home salary into it for an entire year. See how good it feels.

Finally, I have but one retort: Oh yea? Well, well,... I'm engaged! Neener neener!

YAY! Rich and I are very excited for you 2! (this is Amanda, BTW, found ya!) I can't wait to see it! Sadly, I won't be at D&D tomorrow night, but nontheless, YAY!
Rich says- "Congrats! Hooah! and lets bring it back: Salute! *pfft* I'll be at D&D so I hope you're both there!"

HURRAY! HURRAY!!

How wonderfully fantastic!

I've talked to Dan and Loribeth and they've been ring shopping (nothing purchased yet) and for Christmas I didn't get the diamond ring but a "ring of diamonds" (one of those circular pendants, I've been eyeing them for ages, silly enough - the pendant fits on my pinkie finger!)
