So much food, so little time!

Today was a food-filled day. Our department had a Yankee Swap, to which everyone brought treats like brownies and chocolates. (Partly my fault on that one - I was half of the team that arranged the party to begin with.) Then at noon was a building-wide luncheon. After stuffing ourselves on a barbecue lunch (a nice surprise for the dead of winter!), they gave us baskets full of - yup you guessed it, food. THEN late in the afternoon I received a basket full of chocolate from the magazine we advertise with.

And yet, my coworker C- said to me today, "Are you losing weight??"

Tis the season to eat like a pig........ and drop a few pounds? *shrug*

In other news, our GM gave out Christmas cards at the party and here is what mine says - I think it's really nice: "Dear Stacey K* - new kid on the block - well you have done great work so far and I see even better and great challenges awaiting you in 2006! It gets wild and crazy, put on your great smile and seat belt. E- is going to help you grow!** Thanks for a great year! K-"

(notes) * there are two Staceys, strangely enough. So we use initials! ** as of the 1st I will still be technically working for the S- division of I-, but will be moving offices to sit with the E- division and their full marketing team. I am very excited about this. (Admittedly, it's mostly because I may get an actual office out of the deal, instead of the cubicle I currently have.)
