I received a pretty Christmas card in the mail today from
cinquefoil. Julie, please be proud in the thought that you are the first person on the face of the planet to address a card to both me and
midnightcoder, even though he doesn't live here. :) That quite amused me.
I feel like I've been going non-stop all day. Even on my lunch break here at the apartment (I come home for lunch every day), I vacuumed up the pine needles all over the carpet in the living room. Tonight I did two loads of laundry (it was stacked way up past the top of the hamper), cooked a full dinner (breaded chicken, parmesan noodles, and peas with pearl onions), brought some stuff up to my storage cubicle in the attic, did a whole sinkful of dishes, and ran the dishwasher (which is currently on the dry cycle). Now I am sitting here allowing myself some veg time with the computer and a cup of Sleepytime tea. Emptying the dishwasher can wait until tomorrow. It's quarter of 10, for goodness sake. I need a break.
I am in love with my Christmas tree. Even my little houseplant in the living room seems to have perked up. It must be psyched to have a plant buddy in the room. Granted, one that's about 17 times bigger than it, but still someone to talk to during the day when I'm not here. :)
OK, now that I am officially getting weird, it's time to go.
