depressed and ashamed

I can't believe Bush bought another election. Seems that the scare
tactics, lies, ballot theft, and misdirection of voters worked out very
well for good old Dubya.

I thought for sure the young voters, 18-29, would turn out and fire him.
Young voter turnout was dismal, worse than four years ago. You guys who
are eligible to vote but did not vote ought to be ashamed of yourselves.
You had the power to change the course of the entire country but did not
use it. I'm very angry about this.

All of your jobs are going away because of Bush tax breaks for companies
who send jobs overseas. People will be competing for McDonalds jobs. I'm
talking college graduates. And this is only if you can afford to drive to
work. Bush has increased the strategic oil reserves to the point where gas
prices have gone through the roof, even though independent experts state
that this increase in the reserve is unnecessary.

I don't even want to get into the implications that this vote has for
women's rights. It's just too scary.

I'm ashamed to be an American right now.
