I Should Not be blogging today

Seriously, I shouldn't. Because I am in such a bad mood. I mean, the kind of bad mood where you start to not care what people think ( Read more... )

Well, your disposition sounds as sunny as mine today. Must be this bloody English weather. *glares out of window and wishes for a log fire and more fleece*

Yes, I admit the cold and rain isn't cheering me up. *grumble*

You're further north, right? Have you had snow?

Yeah, I'm up in Manchester. No snow yet, though there's been some on the high ground not far from here. Not even had rain today. Just that biting cold that doesn't go away.

We've had snow in upstate NY already. Then again, I'm pretty sure most of the western world hears "Buffalo, NY" and thinks snow.

Yep, I think we do. :-) Or if you're me, in keeping with the above football mention, you hear "Buffalo" and think, in a crazed reactive fashon, "Fuck the Bills! Fuck the Bills!" Lol. Sorry.

I completely agree with you! and I signed the petition.

I'm in a bad mood too - I was just in class and we had to do this stupid group poster thingy and two girls in the group were all like "whatever, I don't care..." when we asked them about their opinions. I was this close to cussing them out. Dumbasses. Fuck, I HATE group projects. *deep breaths* I have to go back to class now. Dammit.

Man, why do teachers assign group projects? Don't they remember having to do them in school and there's always somebody who lets everyone else do the work?

I've got two words for you: Busy Work. It's just useless and I hate it. I'd rather do it myself and take full responsibility for it.

Hey there... sorry, I seem to have wandered in randomly on a bad day... Hope today is a better one for you.

You and I share an interest in Oghma, and I noticed you used both popular spellings of His name... was wondering if this something of personal and/or spiritual significance to you? I am a pagan, and Oghma is my patron deity, and it's always interesting to me to hear how others experience him. You're a writer, I see, and that's definitely his thing....

Hi there Halftroll!

Yes, writing is definitely his thing. I actually just used both spellings because they're both common and I wanted to make myself accessible, as it were.

I actually haven't "worked" with Oghma much, so to speak. I usually find myself working with Morrighan. What that says about me...:-)

I've always wanted to try doing something with him, though, because of what I do. I've been rather lax spiritually of late...guess I ought to remedy that.

The Morrighan is an old friend of mine, though she finds me a little too cerebral for her tastes.

Mind if I friend you?
