Kids with trisomy 18 don't usually live past age 5. they're a lot of work and have so many problems. It was probably the right decision if she felt she couldn't handle it. Everything will work out.

the DR told her that the baby would probably not live past 6 months. I don't disagree at all with her decision but, I just don't think I would be able to decide myself.
