A Bit Freaked Out
Everything this week has happened so fast, my head is still spinning. I got a job as tech support as Verizon, and I'm leaving tomorrow afternoon for Phoenix, Arizona for 2 weeks training. I literally just found out thursday! I will work right next door to Hollywood Video, so that's cool, and I'll most likely hang out there on my breaks.lol.
I was at work and then at a co-worker's party, and I realized how I was going to miss working goofing off with everyone at Hollywood Video. Dat was sad that no else watches Smallville and I was the only one to talk to about it. But I promised him I would come by and talk about the Heroes and Smallvile. gayness.
I am in shock, excited, and pretty nervous, too, to be going to Arizona for 2 weeks by myself. I really hope I can get the internet on my computer or some other way so I can keep in contact with friends. I'm gonna miss them soo much! I have to keep telling myself, though that this is a great chance for me, and I can save more for places I plan to go next year and I'll be fine by myself for 2 weeks, but it's still weird. This will be my first full-time job, and I hope I do well. The company I will be working for, Solectron, will be paying for everything(flight, food, hotel) and I am still freaking out. I'm going shopping today to get clothes to wear during training(casual business attire) so that should be fun. And am also saying goodbyes to friends and family. I haven't even started packing yet....
....and I totally bought the Ray k/fraser ds hottness and am going to watch while I'm away=)
