The best weekends are those that you can get up at 11, make brunch with roomies and friends, sit in your pajamas and unbrushed teeth playing Mario Kart until 2:30, and do nothing productive for the rest of the day. These are the weekends that are famous in college. Just hanging out with friends not worrying about classes, homework, and the rest of the world. If only these could happen more often.
It's kind of weird to think that I've been here for over a month already. This school year is going to fly by. I'm going home for the first time this weekend, and I'll admit it - I'm psyched. I know, I know. I actually miss my family. I guess it's another sign of growing up...
I think I have smoothly taken up the roll as a homemaker. I like cooking, and cleaning isn't fun, but I still don't really mind doing it (yet). I think my cooking skills are improving, also. Next time I'll remember to beat my meat so the meatloaf doesn't have air pockets :)
I really did have something of substance to post, but that was two nights ago and I don't remember anymore. There's a homeless hobo in my kitchen right now, so I guess I better go visit with him, since I rarely get to see his pompous "I have my own fan club" ahole anymore :)
