tin foil and wet paper towels
the artisic director brought daffodils into the office today. she gave us each one, and put a vase full on the conference table. they are blooming very nicely already.
i used to pick the daffodils that grew in our front yard under our dogwood tree and take them to my elementary school teachers. my mom would help me wrap their stems in damp paper towels, and then seal the ends with tin foil so they would stay alive while i carried them to school.
