*I can see the stars tonight, how they shimmer, shine SO bright...!*
so, this week has gone by way to fast...
*Monday*- Kristi (AKA: Kristina-Leigh) and I drove down to Faulkner! we got up BRIGHT and early (8AM to be exact!) and got there around 11-ish! We met the girl we were gonna stay with(Nu nu), and then we ate lunch in the cafe! WOW! the food was SO good! and its set up really cool...you scan your ID card when you first go into the cafe, and then you can go through the line as many times as you want!
Then we went on an unofficial tour of the campus, then we headed over to the soccer fields! I got to warm up w/the girls and sit on the bench during the game! (very fun!)
After the girls game, we left to go skeet shooting at Mitchell's house! I only watched, ok, well, I shot once, but not at a clay pigeon...I just fired the gun!
Well, it started getting dark and I was getting cold, so we decided to go out to eat...Kristi talked Mitchell into letting her drive his truck haha! so, Jordan and I drove back to school together. It was cool talking to him, I felt like I'd known him forever-everybody on campus was really nice! I felt like everybody was my brother or sister-its small enough that you can feel like a family!
*Tuesday*-we got up and went to Chapel...it was good, then we went on an official tour w/Nu nu, ate lunch and almost got to sit in on a class...but the professor wasn't actually gonna teach, she was going to have them grade their own papers! so anyway, we headed home...
I did enjoy Faulkner, I want to go back down there, but w/my parents!
*Wednessday*-had an orthodontist app. early in the A.M. then came home and went back to bed!...
Krystle called around 2-ish and we went walking/running around Trussville!
Came home and made dinner and then French beignets for desert! YUMMM!
Took Brett to Bruce's house to drop off a tire, and on the way home started admiring the moon-it was SO beautiful-it had an orangish tint to it! (Mon. night when we were leaving Mitchell's there were so many BRIGHT stars...I wanted to sleep under them...and Jordan almost ran off the road several times trying to look at the sunset! haha!)anyway...
I slept under the stars last night! The moon was so full, and the stars were SO numerous!...but the sky was different. When we were little and we lived in Austin Hills, we would look at the stars and we would always be able to pick out Orion and the Big Dipper, but I couldn't see them here...it was like looking at something your so familiar with, but not recognizing it all at the same time. anyway...it was still beautiful!
*Thursday (today!)*-I went shopping with Emily Ray! I haven't seen her in what seems like forever...
I helped make dinner
I went and played tennis w/my dad! I didn't do all that bad! then I ran around the courts several times!-I love exercising!
So we came home and I had some spare time, so I decided to update yall on what was going on w/my life!....nothing too exciting, but I kinda like it that way!
