Great Weekend
Saturday - All kinds of special since I had to get up at the crack of dawn to go to a stupid cashier meeting after closing the night before. I had breakfast at Panera Bread with Birdie and Michelle since we didn't have to be at work until 10:15 & 10:45. There just wasn't any point to head home after the meeting. It was just a round about day of hell. The customers were so mean and everyone was trying to leave early. Lots of craziness.
Sunday - I had my hours switched so that I could go to Joe's Induction Ceremony into the Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society. I was supposed to work 7am - 12pm at the new supercenter but I was the only one in the new supercenter for the first hour and 15 minutes. That was so not fun. There were lots of strange noises going on, very creepy. Ramy came down at 8:15. The LP guy was supposed to have been there at 8 but hadn't shown up yet. Ramy took a walk through of the store to see how everything was coming along and when he got back LP still wasn't there yet. So he said that he was going to finalize payroll and if LP wasn't there yet then I could go home so I could get down to Joe sooner than expected. LP called and said they would be there in 20 minutes. At that point I thought I'd still have to stay but Ramy let me go once LP got there. I was leaving the supercenter by 9:15ish. I was so happy.
Joe's Induction ceremony was really nice. I'm so proud of him. I don't think I could ever get into that. It was just his grandparents and I. I had a wonderful visit with him. After the ceremony him and I went to Wilmington to get at Damon's Grill. I hated leaving him yesterday so I'm in a depressed state today and will be for a few more days probably. I can't wait until he's done with school so that we can move into together. I miss him so much.
