why am i mad?

i'm kind of mad at my best friend. he did something stupid last night. went out, got drunk, plus some other stuff. it wasn't really a big deal. but i made it into one and i don't know why. it's not like i have to worry about him. he's a big boy. he's 19. lives his own life.. i just know it's not him but why am i letting something like this bother me? i mean i stayed up most of the night worrying about him because i didn't know if he was okay or not. is it wrong to be mad?
