You did it! The 3 winners & new INTERNATIONAL contest.
Hey you guys!
First up, I want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH! to everyone who pre-ordered from Hicklebees or showed up for the signing. Y'all are made of awesome!
We not only made the pre-order goal of 15 copies, but, thanks to a few last minute orders placed mere minutes before I arrived at the store, exceeded it by 4! That number combined with all the books purchased by those in attendance made this my most successful signing of all time. And not just because of the number of copies sold, but because of the quality and quantity of the people who came out.
When you all filled up all the chairs that had been put out and the lovely Ann, of Hicklebees, had to bring out more I honestly got a little choked up. As someone who has spent her share of signings either alone or chatting to one or two poor people who are shell-shocked by the force of my undivided attention, I really, really, really, reeeeaaaalllly appreciate it when people come out to see me and chat about books.
So thank you! Thank you! A hundred times thank you. You made my weekend.

Congrats, ya'll! And no worries about contacting me with addresses, I snagged them from the store and will be putting these books in the mail a little later this week. (I'm going to wrap them in Trader Joe's paper bags and send them media mail, because I'm classy like that and reusing and recycling is good.)

To celebrate the release of ROMEO REDEEMED on October 9th in the United States and October 11th in Brazil, I'm asking you all to send me pictures of ROMEO REDEEMED in the wild.
Snap a picture of Romeo on a bookstore shelf and post that to Facebook, Twitter, your blog, or email it directly to me at stacey.jay.ya at gmail dot com---and make sure you let me know about it by tagging me on Facebook or Twitter (my tag is @Stacey_Jay)---and you will be entered to win a thank you note filled with 25 temporary tattoos.
The tattoos are an original design by artist Jennifer Redstreake (a super talented artist who has an etsy shop you should check out) and inspired by JULIET IMMORTAL and ROMEO REDEEMED. I love the J and R on the hilt of the sword.
