So, the sweet people over at the Stalking The Bookshelves blog asked me several months ago to do a blog post for them about an average "day in the life" for me as a young adult author. I made them a montage. It is obnoxious and silly and I make a fool of myself, but it also might make you laugh a little (especially if you, too, are a writer...or simply prone to fits of internet-induced despair).

Those first few weeks of sales are so critical to a mid-list author's career, so thank you, thank you, thank you for keeping me in a job and enabling me to feed my obnoxious children (they really are, go watch that video).
