[Public so that even the non-lj-ers from the group can look at it]
Foundation 42 will most definitely sponsor a workshop, provided that everyone agrees to put in the same effort they would if this workshop were being run as an independent study. If people don't put in the effort, no one will get much out of it.
Going along with that, Aizawa and I were already talking about having a workshop on livejournal or yahoo!groups to continue to give feedback this summer on the long works people have started in Fantasy Workshop. I know not everyone is comfortable with lj (obviously not anyone reading this post ~_^) but if people want to have a separate writing journal account to post in the community, that's fine. If you are interested, let me know. It would be a closed community, and to protect our unpublished work, it'll be locked.
The other option is yahoo!groups, but considering how much many people write at a time, that would be a lot in our email boxes and I don't know how many will have regular email access this summer. The pro to the email list is that if we send them as Word attachments, we have the comment feature, where we can comment in the text much like we write comments on the packets we receive in class.
So at some point we can all sit down and make a decision.
