Mow
Did the whole girly thing yesterday. Bought hair stuff. Bought some face stuff. Buffed and polished my nails. This morning I even did my hair in a french braid (or do we call that a "freedom braid" these days?).
Mostly I spent time with Laurel. She was home for, like, two days. She went back to Duke at the crack of dawn today. Her birthday's coming up. I have a sneaky suspicion I have a present for her stashed away somewhere around here. As to where... eh. I think I may have to tack on a Happy Hannukah card when I give it to her. ^_^
Today was a crappy day. Nothing in particular went wrong. It just was... Friday was one of these days, only worse. Tom never showed up for our Russian lesson and I was to the point where using the phone was soooo not gonna happen. Still haven't called him. These are the kinda days where you feel like you're gonna jump out of your skin for no particular reason. Which is what makes it worse, really. You can't pinpoint the cause. You just feel all jumpy and stuff. Like a spider underneath my skin/I want you out/I want you in Only it's not lust like that song is describing.
Three more days of work. Three more days of work... Two and a half weeks before I can go back to Hollins.
