it's been how long??
So... I haven't posted since November. With five full months gone, I should have a ton to post about but nothing is springing to mind.
I've been spending way too much time on Facebook lately (bejeweled blitz is going to be the death of me) and trying to wean myself off of paperbackswap games so that I can get my reading pile under control. Apparenly the floor in the bedroom is not a bookshelf... nor is the kitchen table. Who knew?
C just finished up MAP testing for the year and is now on the downward spiral to the end of 4th grade. She had some issues earlier in the school year with keeping her grades up in Science and Math, but she seems to have it figured out now. Granted she only slipped as low as a C+, but since she's usually a straight A student we were concerned.
We're going to be walking in the Race for the Cure in June. I haven't officially signed up yet (just color me lazy) but I'll be posting a link when I get around to joining Team QT in case anyone was hoping to donate to a worthy cause again this year.')
... at least with that promise y'all can count on another post from me before 5 months is up this time! Maybe I'll get inspired and actually start posting again instead of just reading daily.
