Bold Worlds 2 - Tech Museum

I went to see this earlier in the week and it was quite interesting. I have to say my tummy turned a little when I first walked in, but was fine within a few minutes.

The displays of the embryo's at different stages was facinating. I didn't realize how developed they were at such a young age. You can see the form of a child, but in the size smaller than a pea. In this particular exhibit there were several fetuses at different stages and a pregnant mother carrying. This is the only time through the exhibit I wondered how they died. I assumed the embryo's were from abortions.

They did some really cool displays of the bodies for different types of sports and they were posed in those positions. My favorite displays were *Exploded* and *The Drawer Man* Exploded was all the parts hanging and exploded out. The Drawer Man was partially pulled out like a drawer in sections... hmmm... how to explain this?... http://www.boston.com/ae/theater_arts/articles/2006/07/29/insides_out/ I found a pretty good explanantion there.

Anyway, if you were thinking of going I believe it ends on the 26th. I'm glad I went.
