Just quick catch up...
Soooo the last 3 years have been pretty cool. People might think I am a loser but you know what? I don't care. If people begrudge me from being happy then that's their problem not mine. If it was something that was affecting my day to day life then I'd agree. But it's not. I still work, I still see my friends, I still see my family.
Basically the last few years have been so much fun and I wouldn't take any of it back! One of the best things ever is being on tour and hanging out with so many people with the same interests and the memories from that is just laughter.
Of course there's been shit. Shit within the fandom which everyone looks back and laughs about and shit from people who don't understand and just want to judge. I can understand people thinking it's strange... If I didn't know how it was I'd probably think that too. What I can't understand is why it's such a huge problem for anyone. And the words we use... We are taking the piss out of ourselves?!
I've been lucky in that my friends (old school friends) understand its just a hobby, just a small part of my life and they joke about it occasionally but otherwise we don't even discuss it, because when we're together we're having fun ourselves and talking about our own shared interests and memories!
2013 has been pretty boring so far but not in a bad way! I started it off in Dublin which makes a change from at work, that was cool! I'm not enjoying this cold weather but I know it could be worse, I'm just hoping for an actual summer!
There's a few things to look forward to... My holiday to Fuerteventura in July, Kirsty's hen party in October and her wedding in November and of course Dublin for panto December/January.
Apart from that stuff who knows what the rest of this year will bring! :)
