I thought I would jump on the bandwagon! (For some reason that just made me think of wagon wheels! Haha)
You know how sometimes people on your friend's list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when are they working THERE? since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you *should* already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.
Please copy mine below, erase my answers putting yours in their place then post it in your journal! Please elaborate on the questions that would benefit from elaboration! One-word answers seldom help anyone out.
I encourage everyone to post this in their LJ!
1. First Name: Stacey
2. Age: 20 (21 in less than a month!)
3. Location: East Sussex, England. I live in a tiny village (if you can even call it that) near Heathfield. Here we have just one pub which is the shittest pub ever, a village hall which is due to be knocked down and a primary school which is in trouble as it has hardly any pupils. Wonderful!
4. Occupation: Barmaid. Actually, bar manager now! It sounds weird to say that. Not that it's much different, I just get to boss people around more and I have to make sure things are going okay etc. I never thought that I would end up doing this but hey, I love it for now. I know I can't go any further up in this job so I will need a new one eventually but for now I am happy.
5. Kids: None. I go back and forth on wanting kids as well. Sometimes I think that I do want them and then I realise I hate kids most of the time! I did have a dream once that I had twin boys though and they were okay. lol (Twins run in my family so that could happen! Haha)
6. Brothers/Sisters: One sister, Gemma who is 19. Most of the time we get on but then there are times when I think I hate her! We used to fight all the time when we were younger but now if we fall out it only lasts about 5 minutes!
7. Pets: 2 dogs, a Labradoodle called Bobby who is almost 2 (his dad was a poodle and his mum a labrador, he was the last in the litter to get sold though because he didn't have curly fur bless him!) He looks like a labrador but he's a bit less chunky and has a longer nose and he hardly moults at all! He's lovely, he still acts like a puppy half the time and always wants attention. Tess is a springer spaniel who is 2. We got her when she was 1 and we are her third home poor girl. Her first owner got her as a gun dog but then she hated the noise of guns so he sold her to my chavvy auntie and uncle and they never walked her and shouted at her all the time so my nan made my mum adopt her! She's crazy! When we first got her she was really nervous and I don't think she was ever played with or anything. Now she bosses Bobby around and wants to play all the time! She's still a bit nervous and hates loud noises and getting shouted at. I really love cats though, we were going to get one but Tess would probably kill it if we got one! We did have cats before but they died of old age, as did all my other pets which were a Scottish Terrier called Bonnie (a rescue dog, she was so sweet!), rats, mice, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, a gerbil, fish, a crab. We had a lot of pets when I was a kid!
8. List the 3-5 biggest things going on in your life:
1) Work! Sad I know but I just got my license which means I am left in charge a lot. Especially this summer when my bosses are doing weddings and stuff.
2) Trying to plan my birthday. It is too hard though! Luckily it will be over in a month.
3) Friends. It's a weird time at the moment with so many different groups now and people going all over but I am determined to stay in touch with people!
9. Where and for what did you go to school for?: I went to the village primary when I was 4-11. I loved that little school! When I started there weren't many pupils but it picked up a bit. There were 15 people in my year at the end and we were all friends. Now it's probably merging with another primary though as it's in proper trouble :( This year 22 kids are leaving and only 5 are starting. It sucks as it was awesome. Then from when I was 11 till I was 17 (almost 18!) I was at Heathfield Community College. Well, the school until I was 15 (almost 16) then after that the Sixth form at the school. That again was awesome but going down the pan! haha. It's a big school but not too big and the teachers were mostly awesome and we had really cool trips and great guests. When I was there a guy from Status Quo came to give us music lessons and a guy who was in Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels came for a drama workshop. Also the Science teacher from Grange Hill was one of our teachers! (Science and Drama). Also I made some awesome friends there. Sixth form was even better as most of the annoying people in my year had left and the ones of us left became closer. We also had so many parties, trips, discussions, fun days etc. If I could go back to Sixth Form I probably would! I did hardly any work either and never got in trouble which is weird. Now that school has different headmasters and head of sixth form though and apparently it's shit :(
10. Parents?: Still live with them! They've been married 20 years (I was born before they got married). I think they didn't really know each other that long before they had me (well, obviously at least 9 months! lol) so it's pretty good they are still together! My mum was married to someone else when she was 21 and had me when she was 22 so she obviously does things quite quickly! lol
11. Who are some of your closest friends? Sarah aka Balders, I've known her since she moved almost nextdoor when we were 9 or 10. She moved away last year but she isn't too far away so I still see her a bit. She is hilarious though, so crazy and chatty but she is never mean about anyone and always wants to have fun. Also Georgina who I know I moan about and seem to hate most of the time but I guess thats more of a sister relationship because I have known her almost 17 years now. She's one of those people that makes things happen. She helps me out a lot. I couldn't live with her though as we would kill each other! Bianca who I went to secondary school with but didn't know until sixth form and even then I wasn't really friends with her, it was only after we left sixth form that we became friends. I can't really remember how we became such good friends either! At times Ami, Kirsty, Kat, Charlotte, Holly because these are people I hardly ever see, but when I do it's awesome and we get on so well. Also my work friends I count as good friends too, especially Katie, Gina, Holly, Heidi and Phoebe. It'll be weird when we all don't work there anymore. Well, I probably will be but they'll all move on!
