but ff just because you've had different experiences (?) than them doesn't mean you have nothing to bond over, how do you know what they've experienced just based on their ^_______^ DErpfhf ANIME, NYAN!-ing? Don't focus on the differences too much, instead focus on the similarities :D Everyone grows and changes over time. I'm sure you will make friends!! There are some wonderful people attending SVA. I have a couple friends starting as freshman too, you should all hang out ;D

Do you know what majors they're in? :0 Just curious. I doubt I've met any of them since I kind of ghost around my residence dorm and don't go out much aaaa anxiety porblums. One day I'll man up a bit. ... I have been trying I just am so bad at social situations ahaha.

Let's seeee. The freshmen I mentioned are Dana/Lemming-Exodus is in Illustration, and Steph/Kippery... I think she is too? The others are upperclassmen but I think everyone I know is in illustration, with the exception of Naomi who's in all dem motion graphics. If I can think of any others, who are in animation, I will let you know? :D?
I'm totes empathetic on the anxiety front, don't worry-- I'm sure it'll get better though as the classes get rolling some more and all. I'm sure people want to be your friend, your skills are probably just intimidating 9u6 art students are shy d'awwww
