(no subject)
Hey ya'all, I don't have much time, so I'm going to make this short and sweet. We'll see how that turns out.
So I'm here, in Bethesda, Maryland, with my lovely typical Jewish grandparents. And so far we haven't done anything too exciting, since Bethesda is kinda the worst place in the world for finding things exciting to do, but hey. Hopefully things should pick up tomorrow, as we're driving to New York to spend a few days there. Oh how I love long stuffy car rides with my family in 100 degree weather. Haha, but really, I'm pretty psyched.
There is one thing here that's pretty damn exciting, and I'll insert a little excerpt from my email to Anneka here about it:
"I am going to bed now. Good night. Sleep tight. Don't let the bed bugs bite. SPEAKING OF BUGS, actually, there are FIREFLIES here, which are pretty much the most exciting thing ever in my book. We catch them, and let them go and catch them again, which I'm sure is pure torture for the bugs, but I only get to do it for a little while each year so they can just SUCK IT UP."
Tonight, however, there weren't any fireflies because it was thundering and lighteninginginging here, as it does pretty much every night, after a perfectly gorgeous day. Minus the crazy humidity. Oy vey.
Anyway, I'm being ruthlessly pushed off my dad's laptop, so I'll wrap it up for now. But, let me know how things are in Seattle, and I'll try and post sometime later in my trip.
