(no subject)
Hi I feel like I should update.
I've been in Buffalo a year now. I'm really happy. I like it tons more than I ever thought I would. I quit Old Navy and now have a 9-5 with GEICO, Mon-Fri. I never ever ever thought that was what I wanted but you know what, it's what I wanted. I'm really happy.
I drink beer now. Or okay, that came out weird. I have developed an appreciation for beer. Big girl now. I'm still playing derby and it's one of my favorite things in the world. I ordered new skates last Tuesday and I should have them at practice this coming Tuesday. The Hammers! Woo! I'm house-sitting for my aunt and drinking all of her soy milk.
I still get silly tattoos. A few weeks ago I gave this parlor up here, Cowpok, $30 and stuck my hand in my box and promised to let them tattoo on me whatever I pulled out. And I pulled out a squid wearing a cowboy hat and a sheriff star so now that little sucker lives on my left arm. I was so pumped about that one.
I am single. I hung out with J for 6 months before he pulled the plug, but I was really frustrated at the end. I have conflicted feelings about that one, to be honest. Oh well.
I just turned 28. Wow. I have my own place, no roommate, and I love that. I just bought tickets to see the Get Up Kids on Oct. 27th. The Get Up Kids! Haha! I'm growing my hair out and it's down to my shoulders. I have two best friends in Buffalo. I like the people I work with. I like not being in charge of anyone. I have a cat, and she's enough responsibility. I don't have the internet at my apartment because I am very lazy, and I realize I can live without it. It's fall, and for the first time since I can remember, I really am enjoying this season. It smells nice, and it's beautiful out. I'm excited about everything that's coming. And I don't know what any of that is.
