Final Playoff Hockey 2010 update
The Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup last night on a weird OT goal by Patrick Kane. I say it was weird cuz for the first few moments after he scored he seemed to be the only person on earth that new they'd just won the Cup. It was a great game, and a great series and I'm glad the Hawks won. It's also great that Chris Pronger won't be lifting the Cup either, the dick.
I'm happy for the Blackhawks and all their fans, they had a hell of a season and I can't say I'm surprised they won. Lots of people, including me, picked them to go all the way this year. Toews is a great player and deservedly received the Conn Smythe for playoff MVP. Big shout out to Niemi who played like a veteran goaltender, even though it was his first full year playing in the NHL. That guy played some great hockey when most people figured he was too young.
And yes, I'm even happy for Marian Hossa. :-)
