See You in Another Life, a jack & j/k centric finale mix
I've had a incredibly difficult time adjusting after the Lost finale Sunday night. I have basically been crying on and off for the past three days, haha. So as a way to deal with allllll the intense feelings, I've dedicated a great amount of time to creating this mix.
At the beginning of this project, I set out to create a soundtrack focusing on the end of the series from the perspective of the group. However, by the time I finished, I admit its focus had narrowed to more of a Jack and Jack/Kate perspective. This probably could not be helped considering that Jack is my favorite character (haters to the left), and Jack/Kate my favorite pairing. I would like to say, however, that the last song I choose was the most difficult because I obsessed over making sure it would fit the group, seeing as the theme of retaining friendships and relationship is what was so important in the final scene of them all leaving the chapel together.
Lastly, I want to stress the importance of using the .xml file I've included. The order of the tracks is so, so super important to the flow of the mix. I must have gone through at least five drafts before I was completely satisfied with the lyrical story.
