why it's different now

because open-ended questions don't stay at the front of my mind anymore, they come and go as they please. because i don't keep them there. because i've gotten really good at letting go of a lot of things. because i had to leave new haven. because i liked girls as much as i liked guys. because i didn't let go of some things soon enough. because no one would listen to me.
why wouldn't anyone listen to me?
did i start telling lies because people wouldn't believe me when i was telling the truth?
