I have had a wonderful last few days.
Wednesday: Our new receptionist arrived today- fresh from the consulting office. This means I am now officially PROMOTIONISED- Buyer Management! Yeaaah!
Thursday: I finish work and find myself in Soup Plus in the city- watching Paul play with the wonderful Jazz Connection- I think this was my favourite show of theirs so far- plus Paul got a decent length solo in the last set *le swoon*
Friday: An uber trek to Manly to view another Paul concert: ManCower [et al]! YEAH! Skaxcore! Aaaaaaah that band was in a league of it's own that night. So. Freaking. Woot. I don't think I stopped smiling once during their whole 40 minute set.
Saturday: A trek to Hornsby for yet another Paul show- another ManCower gig with the Casino Rumblers [Ska vs. Psychobilly. Ska won easily.]. ManCower totally owned yet again, I smiled for the whole show once again. Casino Rumblers also fairly decent. All psychobilly songs sound the same. The double bassist/singer was really good. I got to see dear Mr. Alex. I've missed him greatly.
Sunday: Woken up by my boyfriend's inability to turn off a light :P Not really....well...yes really...but twas a pleasant waking none the less. aw. Paul-to-the-max-core-this-week!!
