‘Where are you from?’
‘Wallan’
‘And you haven’t been killed in a car crash yet?’
How about everyone in Mitchell Shire just doesn't get into a car for the next few weeks, k? Or better yet would everyone just stop dying around my home town... The traffic was unbearable.
Anyways, check out this ace trio:
Actually got the card signed when I met him at 303 a few weeks ago, but the line to the loo seemed like an awkward place to ask for a photo.
Chatted briefly with him too, about MICF, hecklers... It was pretty damn awesome.
So a few weeks after the comedy festival I’m going to London. Plane stops over in Paris, even, on the way.
That's what I'm nervous about. Not that I'll be leaving the country for the first time, but for the two days when I realise the only French I know is from songs.
I wonder how many times I can actually use ‘ca plane pour moi’ in a sentence?
I’m trying not to think about it. Instead I’m focusing on all the epic Melbourne comedy events that are coming up. I mean there’s the MICF itself, which even though I can’t afford to buy tickets to any shows this year I will still at least see Wil Anderson. Then there’s AMIH and Playground, both which’ll be brimming with awesome.
Adam Hills is on at AMIH next week, for instance...
I had more things to say but I’ll keep it short.
