AO3 Invite Request Post
Here is the place to request invites for the AO3 in case you don’t have one yet!
What is the AO3? It is the Archive of Our Own, a multifandom archive for all types of fanworks.
Why do I need an invite? If you don’t have an AO3 account, this is why you’ll need one for Trekstock:
All fills for Trekstock (fills for prompts, not necessarily for the Jam Sessions) will be posted to the AO3 Trekstock Collection this year, not LiveJournal. So if you plan to make something for the prompts you need an account.
Also, we will be determining the winners for each round by counting up Logged In (or signed) kudos. You can only sign your Kudos if you have an AO3 account and are logged in at the time you hit the Kudos button. So if you plan to vote you need an account.
How do I get an invite? Two ways:
Sign up at the Invite Request page at the AO3. They should work through that list every few days to a week, there isn’t a super-long wait any longer.
Leave a comment on this post with your email address and someone will email you an invite. It may be a Mod, or it may be a good Samaritan who has an extra invite. If you send someone an invite please comment on their comment. The mods will delete any requests that have been fulfilled so everyone can easily keep track of who needs one. If you don’t want to leave your address publicly, PM the admiral_mod account with your email and a Mod will send you an invite.
