Awwww! This is so lovely! And I live in hope that somebody will one day be inspired to write the story of their first trip out to a club together, so we can see why Jim knew then that Bones should be his :-D

Awww, lovely! I particularly loved this bit: six had ended up trying to kill them, four had wanted to kidnap them to arrange for elaborate Federation trade negotiations, one had carnivorous plant life that Sulu smuggled aboard and then accidentally almost let eat a yeoman, and one had declared Jim a god. HEHE!!! Too funny! And I loved the adorable (unnerving) nerves that Jim had and how totally Bones Bones was about the whole thing. Especially the shiny apples-- hehe! I'd scan them too, Bones! *pets reassuringly* *fails at romance* *smushes them together* Romantic and lovely and very, very much with the AWWWWW!!!!-making.

Oh, this was wonderful! I think my favorite part was the middle part with Bones's POV - his bitching, general cluelessness, and, well, everything.
