Hi, my name's Lieutenant emiliglia - and I hereby pledge allegiance to the Jones team. (And o, hai, I was so excited to play that I didn't even answer all the questions.)
I believe they are the OTP because they have incredible chemistry. All the promos for STXI were saying that it's "not your father's Star Trek." Well it's not your mother's OTP, either!
Kirk and Spock may have invented slash, but let's face it, with the new timeline, it just doesn't work. Jim grew up with a dead father and an absent mother, wanting someone who loved him for himself and not for a ghost of someone else. First thing Spock does is mention daddy. Bones warns that he might get thrown up on and then shares his flask - if that's not true love in the making, then I don't know what is!
And their body language around each other and all the casual touching and indiscretion for personal space and all the eye contact...
Also: The only one who can override the captain is the CMO. *winkwinknudgenudge*
My favorite moment is: I have to pick one? Um...the entirety of Bones getting Jim on the Enterprise from "Dammit, Jim, I wish I knew how to quit you!" to "Unbelieable!" (And don't forget that at some point in between, "We have to get you changed" happens and if Jim can't walk on his own, how's he supposed to change his clothes?)
I can contribute fic (if I have the time), art (in the form of icons/GIFs/banners/macros - like the CMO but image doctoring ;) - some of you may remember me from my animated mood theme), and cheerleading/gushing/general fangirl hysteria.

Please read this post about potential wank if you haven’t done so already. I am absolutely determined to keep this comm and challenge a nice place. We are cool as fuck, people, Star Trek is our first love and one thing we all love is how all-embracing and tolerant that universe is. Plus it’s full of GQMFs, ok. *g* While Jones is my OTP, I do dabble in other ships. I mean why hate on people when there is already so much nasty in the world out there. This would make a great theme song: "Life Less Ordinary" by Carbon Leaf seems to be the consensus. I'm also going to add "Starlight" by Muse, "Satellite" by Guster, and "We're in This Together" by Nine Inch Nails (just ignore the "you're the queen and I'm the king" line LOL).
I think Jim and Bones should wear/have matching… I like subtle, like their Starfleet class rings are exactly the same or something.
