It started half way through his shift. It was a pounding behind his eye. He tried to ignore it, but it just wouldn't stop. He thought about going to see Dr. McCoy about it, but he didn't. He was the youngest on the team...he would just have to tough it out.

By the time he got to his quarters, he was nearly in tears.The pain was just too much for him to take. He stumbled to his bed and ordered the lights off. A few moments later he heard the door open. The bed dipped and he felt nimble fingers thread their way through his hair, gently rubbing. He sighed softly.

Hikaru always knew how to make him feel better.
