I'm too tired to go chasing after images for macros, so I offer up drabbles instead. Almost totally bias free!

Pavel may be, by every measure, a genius; but he is also a teenager and so prone to moments of inattention. Times where his keen mind leaves behind the realm of complex digits is lost in idle daydreams.

He cannot imagine Hikaru proposing to him. That is not to say he does not think they would ever be married, it just would not occur to his close friend to plan their engagement in advance. Theirs would be a Vegas wedding; fun and fast, drunk on alcohol, each other and the intense joy of a new experience.

Montgomery would be the opposite. Plans and plans on how to implement those plans. A lengthy build-up to a traditional ceremony, but while the emotion would be more subdued than a spontaneous coupling he might experience with Hikaru, Pavel cannot help but think he would be just as joyful.

Leonard is an enigma. No solid daydream has yet formed as to how a marriage to the doctor would go, while his imaginings of a married life with his two close friends is built from what he knows of them Pavel's understanding of the doctor's attitude towards relationships is slim. So it is for perhaps that reason that he longs for a proposal from Leonard most of all, so that he might see what kind of marriage it would be.
