Once upon a time there was a wee innocent child by the name Card. A flower child at heart she came to the Star Trek fandom full of goodwill and hope for all and started this comm as a way to foster a dialogue between the bloody factions that were ripping the fandom apart.

Cards_slash is the brilliant, snarky force behind the insanity that has engulfed everyone's flist (and she's not really sorry about it either). If she were writing this she'd probably go off about this point to declare how she never thought it would get this big and she's sorry she dragged everyone into this mess. This would be a lie, while she may not have known that it would grow quite this amazing she is most certainly not sorry she dragged everyone into this. She is in favor of sparkle-text, sarcasm, lulz, bad good porn, and the love of all ships.
She also happens to be pretty amazing, be glad you meet her, I know I am.

So, when I was asked to do an introduction of Admiral Goldshirt, I found myself in something of a quandry, caught between honesty and the fact that I quite like my eyes and do not wish to lose them in any type of "freak accident" involving a salad fork and rabid platypus. After mulling it over for several seconds hours, I decided to let my rubber duckie answer for me. Take it away, Daisy.

The truth is that we found Admiral Kirkov chewing on rotten banana peels in an alley and thought, despite her lack of hygiene, good manners and fashion sense that she was kind of cute. So we took her home, gave her a bath, some real food, a cardboard box to sleep in and re-named her 'bb fluffykins'. We later came to find out that she is actually kind of awesome and has exceptional skills at manipulating graphics. You may imagine we were pleasantly surprised and, naturally, offered her a full-time job as Admiral. We even created a whole new shirt color for her.
(However, she still sleeps in a cardboard box.)

Okay, so I'm Re White, I'm captaining Team Pirk (which is small in number right now, but crazy determined to be awesome). I signed up to captain this pairing because it's the only ship I love more than Jones.
My cohorts and I are of the mind that smaller ships tend to produce some of the most interesting fic - there aren't as many fandom conventions for unusual/smaller pairings, so, in our opinion, they tend to have the most intriguing possibilities. Pirk, obviously, has this going for it, in addition to being hot like fire.

Hello all, I am mrasaki, aka Captain Spones. I've been primarily a Jones writer in ST fandom but I have a number of other OTPs that I love beyond all reason--the primary one being Spones!
Spones has the best of the Star Trek universe: a double dose of science, intelligence, pretty eye-candy, and eyebrowing, all garnished with sarcastic banter. Spock and Bones have a dynamic unseen anywhere else, complementing and supporting each other while keeping each other on their toes, and for all that they like to think that they're very different, underneath their unfriendly exteriors they're more similar than they'd like to admit: caring, sensitive, and fiercely loyal.
On top of all that they have the most variety of nicknames--not only can they be called Spones, there's 'Team Science' and the ever popular, 'McKock'.

I fell in love with this ship after some amazingly good characterizations of one fierce Christine Chapel and realized just how perfectly McCoy fits into her life. I volunteered to lead this sexy ship because it is just so awesome. Really, I have a hard time coming up with words to describe just how much I love these two and what this ship does for me, but I have no problem with debates and logic and spitting out details and reasons when people start asking me questions about these two and their actions! :) I am thrilled to be the captain of this ship because the crew members I have begun to gather (as well as others who either aren't up for playing or just haven't been persuaded yet) share the same passion about these two as I do - the same passion that I think we ALL have for our ship.
So, passionate Captains of equally passionate crews, IT. IS. ON. hehe I love you all, but we all know it's going to come down to pure sexiness that wins this thing, and my ship knows sexiness!
