Ok. Now that's out of the way....
Went to see Sweeney today. Forgot they'd be carding, but I had my parent there anyway. ;) haha I really enjoyed it; my mom and sister, not so much. But! That's probably because they don't have as much a passion for music as I do and just the wonderment of how Tim Burton shoots things. :D As I've said, musicals aren't really my thing, but this one was pretty amazing. The orchestrations were very sweeping and powerful; everyone's vocals I really enjoyed. Johnny pulled it off, and I loved Helena! She was so quirky and funny and beautiful singer. Totally wasn't expecting that ending though! So so not. I mean, dude. I was floored. I wish Mrs. L wouldn't have died. And though I was rooting for Mr. T and didn't want to see him killed, it was probably for the best. All he had was hate left.
Going to see it with Jo on Wednesday; dragging my dad with me next weekend. I'll shoot for five or higher to see it. Damn Warren raised their prices to 7 and 9 bucks a ticket *grumble*
